How should I supply my artwork?
How should I supply my artwork?
To ensure the best print results, please check:
- Supplied as a print-ready PDF
- Set in a CMYK colour profile
- Resolution of 300 DPI
- Includes 3mm bleed on all sides
- All fonts embedded or converted to outlines
What is bleed and why is it important?
What is bleed and why is it important?
Bleed is the extra artwork area added around the edge of your design. We ask for 3mm bleed on each side so that when your stationery is trimmed, the colour or background runs cleanly to the edge without any white borders.
Your artwork should be supplied at the final print size plus bleed. For example, if your finished card size is 148 × 105mm, your file should be set up at 154 × 111mm.
How do I set up cut lines for custom shapes?
How do I set up cut lines for custom shapes?
If your design needs a custom shape, please include a cut line in your artwork. A cut line is a vector path that shows exactly where the item should be cut.
Place the cut line on its own layer, set it to stroke only with no fill, and position it exactly where you want the final shape to be cut.

Paper & Card Stocks
Choosing the right paper can completely change the look and feel of your wedding invitations.
We offer a carefully selected range of smooth, textured, recycled and luxury wedding invitation card stocks, from affordable 300gsm Signature White through to premium Natural Fibre and Glacier White.
STANDARD
Signature White 300gsm
Best for: Colourful designs, modern invitations, photographs and everyday wedding stationery.
Our Signature White 300gsm card is a smooth, bright white stock that gives wedding invitations a clean, crisp and professional finish. Its smooth surface produces sharp text and vibrant colours, making it a versatile choice for everything from minimalist designs to detailed illustrations and photography.
A great all-round wedding invitation paper, Signature White offers excellent print quality at an affordable price and works particularly well when your design relies on accurate, bright colour reproduction.
PREMIUM
Natural Fibre 300gsm
Best for: Elegant, minimalist, botanical and contemporary wedding invitations.
Our Natural Fibre 300gsm card has a beautifully tactile, subtly textured surface that adds a premium feel without distracting from your design. Its natural character works particularly well with soft colours, delicate typography, line drawings and botanical artwork.
Choose Natural Fibre if you'd like your printed wedding invitations to feel a little more luxurious and tactile while retaining a clean, sophisticated appearance.
Premium
Heritage Hammer 280gsm
Best for: Traditional, romantic, vintage and classic wedding invitations.
Our Heritage Hammer 280gsm card features a distinctive hammered texture that gives wedding invitations a traditional, handcrafted appearance. The textured surface catches the light beautifully and adds character to simple typography, monograms, floral designs and classic wedding artwork.
It's an excellent choice if you're looking for a textured wedding invitation card with a timeless feel, particularly for traditional, country-house and romantic wedding styles.
Creative
Rustic Grain 280gsm
Best for: Rustic, woodland, autumnal, boho and countryside weddings.
Our Rustic Grain 280gsm recycled kraft card has a warm, natural brown tone and visible character that creates a relaxed, organic finish. It's particularly suited to simple designs, bold typography and darker artwork where the natural kraft colour can become part of the overall design.
Because this is a coloured recycled stock, printed colours will appear differently than they do on white card. Choose Rustic Grain when you want the paper itself to make a statement and complement a natural or rustic wedding theme.
Please kindly note, we cannot print white onto this card.
Luxury
Glacier White 300gsm
Best for: Luxury, minimalist, monochrome and sophisticated wedding invitations.
Our Glacier White 300gsm card is a premium bright-white stock chosen for wedding invitations that call for a refined, high-quality finish. Its substantial feel and elegant surface give simple designs, fine typography and carefully considered artwork a particularly polished appearance.
Glacier White is an excellent choice for couples looking for a more luxurious wedding invitation paper, especially where understated design and premium presentation are the priority.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I print wedding invitations I've designed myself?
Yes. Our professional printing service is designed for customers who already have their own artwork. Simply choose your paper, size, quantity and print options, then upload your finished design when ordering. We'll professionally print and finish your wedding invitations here in the UK.
Can you print wedding invitations designed in Canva?
Absolutely. If you've created your wedding invitations in Canva, you can upload your finished design for professional printing.
For the best print quality, download your finished Canva design as PDF Print and include 3mm bleed where your design runs to the edge.
If you're unsure whether your artwork is set up correctly, choose one of our Artwork Check options when ordering.
Printing Wedding Invitations from Canva
Designed your wedding invitations in Canva? You can upload your finished design directly for professional printing.
For the best results, download your file from Canva as PDF Print, include 3mm bleed and make sure any background colours, photographs or artwork extend fully into the bleed area.
Once downloaded, choose the corresponding finished size, select your printing options and upload your PDF. If you're unsure whether the file is print-ready, select one of our Artwork Check options and we'll check the technical setup before production.
What file format should I upload?
We recommend supplying your wedding invitations artwork as a print-ready PDF wherever possible.
For the best results, artwork should be high resolution, ideally 300dpi, and include 3mm bleed where the design runs to the edge. Please ensure fonts are embedded or outlined before uploading your file.
What is the best paper for wedding invitations?
It depends on the look and feel you'd like to achieve. Signature White is an excellent all-round choice for crisp text and vibrant colours, while Natural Fibre and Heritage Hammer add more texture and character.
Rustic Grain works beautifully for natural and rustic designs, while Glacier White is ideal when you're looking for a more premium finish.
What sizes do you print wedding invitations?
We offer a range of popular print sizes including A7, A6, A5, 148 × 148mm square, 5 × 7" and DL where available for this product.
The best size depends on your design and the amount of information you need to include. Please refer to the size options shown above when configuring your order.
How many wedding invitations should I order?
You usually won't need one invitation for every guest. Start by counting the couples, families and households on your guest list, then add invitations for anyone receiving their own.
We recommend ordering around 10–15% extra for late additions, replacements, keepsakes and photography. Ordering a few spares with your main print run is usually more economical than placing a small additional order later.
Can you check my wedding invitations artwork before printing?
Yes. We offer optional Artwork Check services for additional reassurance before your order enters production.
Depending on the option selected, we can check areas such as sizing, bleed, resolution, colour setup, margins and other common print-production issues.
Can you print wedding invitations double-sided?
Yes, where double-sided printing is available for the product you can select it when setting up your order.
Double-sided printing is ideal when you'd like to include additional information on the reverse while keeping the front of your design clean and uncluttered.
How quickly will my wedding invitations be printed?
Our standard production turnaround is typically within 48 working hours once we have received suitable print-ready artwork.
Delivery time is additional and may vary depending on the delivery service selected. Artwork requiring amendments or additional checks may take a little longer before entering production.
Can I order matching wedding stationery?
Yes. We can produce coordinating wedding stationery including wedding invitations, save the dates, RSVP cards, orders of service, wedding envelopes, wedding menus, place cards and wedding newspapers, making it easy to create a consistent look throughout your wedding stationery. Looking for something different? We can also print custom designs. Get in touch to discuss your custom wedding stationery printing.
